After your set

Small habits, between visits.

Most of aftercare is what you don't do. Here's the short list.

Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours, brush them gently with a clean spoolie, and skip oil-based products near your eyes.

A cup of tweezers, a jar of clean spoolie brushes and a folded towel on a tray

The first 24 hours

  1. 01

    Step 1: Keep them dry

No steam, no shower on your face and no swimming while the adhesive finishes setting.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Leave them alone

Don't rub, pick or curl your lashes. If something itches, tell me at your next visit.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Sleep easy

Sleep on your back or side if you can, so the extensions aren't pressed into the pillow.

Every day after

  • Brush gently

Use a clean spoolie each morning, working from the middle to the tips.

  • Skip the oil

Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers and creams can loosen the adhesive.

  • Don't pull

Pulling an extension off pulls out the natural lash with it, so please don't.

  • Come back on time

A fill every two to three weeks keeps the set even.

Questions about aftercare

Can I wear mascara or get them wet?

Skip mascara, because it clogs extensions and is hard to remove. After the first 24 hours water is fine; pat them dry and brush.

What if one falls out?

Extensions shed with your natural lashes, so a few will go between fills. If a lot come out at once, or your eyes feel irritated, tell me.

Something feels wrong?

If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell me and call your doctor or go to urgent care.
