Policies, before you pick a time

Short answers in my own words. Each is on the policies page too.

Booking and deposits

A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service. Every set and fill takes one, and the menu marks each with a Deposit to book chip. You book on the booking page and I confirm by text or email.

Cancelling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit, and your deposit moves with you. With less notice, I keep the deposit. If you're running late, I hold 15 minutes for a fill and 30 for a full set. After that the visit is shortened, not extended.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without a word, I keep the deposit and hold your next visit only with prepayment. If something comes up, a text is all it takes.

Children and companions

Visits are for the client, 18 and over. The room is small and the work needs you still with your eyes closed, so please come on your own. A friend is welcome to wait outside.

Patch tests and allergies

I ask every new client to patch test before a first set. It shows how your skin responds to the adhesive. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction, so tell me about allergies, sensitive eyes and any reaction you've had to tape or eye products. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell me and call your doctor or go to urgent care.

Redos and refunds

If something isn't right, tell me within a week. I'll look at your lashes and say what I can do. Services aren't refunded, but a concern always gets a conversation first.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay at the end of your visit.

How it fits together

From patch test to fill, in order

The first set takes a little setup. After that the rhythm is a fill every two to three weeks.

  1. 01
    Before your first set

    Step 1: Patch test

A small test of the adhesive, booked ahead. You watch the spot at home for a day. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction.

  2. 02
    2 hr to 2 hr 30 min

    Step 2: First set

We start with your natural lashes, your eye shape and the look you want. Then I build the set while you rest with your eyes closed.

  3. 03
    Two to three weeks later

    Step 3: Your first fill

Shed extensions are replaced and gaps filled. You can book your next fill before you leave.

  4. 04
    Every two to three weeks

    Step 4: Fills, on repeat

Keeping to the window keeps the visit short, because more of your set is still there to fill.

  5. 05
    May need a new set

Step 5: After a longer gap

Too few extensions may remain to fill. I'll tell you before we start if a new set is the better choice.

  6. 06
    When you're ready

    Step 6: Taking them off

When you're done, book a removal. Please don't pull extensions off; pulling takes natural lashes with them.

Your artist

One artist, one room.

I'm Amelia Roque. Flutter is a single room on East Boulevard, so every visit is with me from the first look at your natural lashes to the last brush-through. I'll tell you if a set isn't right for them.
